Katharine Nix- Artist
She works in paper because that is the medium in which she can best express her concerns and passions. She makes most of it herself because the process, the making from raw materials to finished art, is as important to her as the conceptual aspect. All her work has one underlying theme; a constant awareness that we humans, sentient mammals, are irrevocably linked to this Earth and the other life forms which have evolved on it.
