Corrie Wright - ArtistCorrie Wright is an Australian artist working in a diversity of forms and processes that reflect a strong relational role for art. Corrie is a multi disciplinary artist using elements from many areas of practice including visual art, community art, performance, installation and collaborative processes. Out of these disciplines comes a cross-fertilization of concepts that build skills and develop relationships.
Working collaboratively on many occasions Corrie is also one of the founding members of Creative Mobility. The aim of Creative Mobility is to use the arts as an interactive tool to turn barriers into bridges within the disability sector and collaboration is an essential component of this process. Performances with this group include, street performance, Korea, Walking together performance, Korea Experimental Arts Festival, sponsored by Australian Embassy. aim to foster a vital interrelationship between the artist, the viewer and the
