A dream is someone’s bit of memory – a tiny seed swirling in search of a place to germinate - to be reincarnated for any consideration. Memory bits cling and long for recognition – the deeper the experience, the more persistent the longing. The dreamer dreams and offers a place to the memory or, denies entry to consciousness and quickly awakes. Reflection of A Marriage is an interpretation of a memory bit sent by an ancestral spirit begging final release from a scripted union … “please release me, let me go, for you don’t need me anymore”. This memory bit is given a place here – two elements bound to one another, sealed with intention, displayed in a worn box easily closed. A testimonial of a ritual in decline offers an ancestor a place for recognition.
