In Your Dreams... you should feel safe

Several years ago while I was going through a particularly stressful time in my life, I experienced several episodes of sleep paralysis. It would happen just as I was awakening from an afternoon nap. My mind would be alert, I knew where I was, but I was unable to move a muscle - including opening my mouth  to cry out. The dreams that preceded the paralysis always involved the threat of personal harm yet once in that state I could not even open my eyes to verify my terror.

In Your Dreams... you should feel safe addresses that feeling of absolute helplessness. On the cover of the box there is a photograph of a doll that has her arms tied at her sides. Inside the box nailed to the wooden frame there is an embroidered white fabric that acts as both a bedspread and body bag. When you pull down the zipper, embedded inside is the same doll that appears in the photograph. An animal mask conceals her eyes and mouth.
