Red Box

• Open the box.

• Remove The protective piece of padding.
   

• # 1. I would prefer the box displayed on a plinth, when available. Open box to reveal interior.
   

• # 2. If the above is not possible the instructions are as follows:

  • Hammer the two nails into the wall.

  • Using the hooks on the back of the piece, hang the piece on the two nails.

  • Open the box and rest the lid section against the wall. It should be displayed open on the wall.

  • If there is a plinth or a stand of some type, the box can also be presented sitting partly open.

  • When repacking, remember to replace the protective padding on the lens before closing the box.

Reflection of A Marriage

• To unpack, untie cords and remove wrapping cloth.  Open Styrofoam packing container and remove art box.  Open art box, remove bubble wrap from interior and position bed in centre of box with bound figures resting on top as viewed in photo. Position stylus (vertically inside box to hold lid open) in front left corner of bottom and lid of box.        

• To repack, wrap figures and bed separately with bubble wrap and place in box.  Place in Styrofoam packing container and wrap in cloth.

• The piece is viewed with lid propped open, on a flat surface so it is viewable on 4 sides and from top looking into box interior.

Meditations of Love

• The piece is best viewed as an open box resting on a flat surface viewable from 4 sides and looking down into the interior of the box. 

• Alternately, a simple shelf/bracket configuration will be supplied, so piece can sit on a shelf parallel to a wall viewable then only from 3 sides and from above looking down into the box. 

• Hanging instructions and hanging devices will be included in the mailing container along with the art work for the shelf configuration.

Nine Visions

• The piece consists of nine small paintings that hang vertically.

• The paintings are attached to two strips of fabric tape.

• There are holes in the tape for hanging.  The holes are situated behind the top painting.

• There are nails included in the box on which to hang the piece. 

• At the bottom of both strips there are small weights behind the last or 9th painting.

• Unpack by unfolding the nine pieces out onto a  flat surface (about 5’5”  in length)

Packing:

• Lay the piece on a flat surface.

• Place a sheet of glassine paper over each painting.

• Cover each piece of  glassine with a piece of bubble wrap.
   

• Fold accordian style, keeping fabric tapes uniformly folded :

  • fold #1 and #2 with backs together;

  • fold #2 and #3 with fronts together;

  • fold #3 and #4 with backs together;

  •  fold #4 and #5 with fronts together;

  • fold #5 and #6 with backs together;

  • fold #6 and #7 with fronts together;

  • fold #7 and #8 with backs together;

  • fold #8 and #9 with fronts together.
     

• Place folded paintings onto centre of white fabric and wrap snugly

• Place wrapped paintings in the tin box, letting the extra fabric at sides fold itself up

• Make sure that the wrapped paintings sit in the box with the weights on the bottom

• Place folded foam on top of wrapped paintings so that the contents fill the box

• Place tin box into heavy cardboard box for mailing.
